3 wheels on my wagon

I've been posting lately over on the other forum in response to sidecar queries.

As a result, I've been rethinking my Max Deubel Homage sitter future project. I rashly suggested to one poster that he considered the BMW Kay series as a donor tug ..oh dear. Even after my cull, I've still got 3 of them in my garage!

What about a modern take on the Sixties racing chairs?
Start with a bland sidecar [ platform totally illegal in the UK ], the aforementioned Kay, set of leading link forks, lower the plot and away we go.

The only item really missing was a suitable chair - don't you just love E-Bay !!!

£155 [ $320?] later here I am the proud owner of a Velorex [ Czech ] sidecar. NOT pretty but plenty of scope.

This is the Velorex 526 sidecar. Way too high as is, needs to be channelled over chassis, or chassis notched by 6" or so. Then maybe smaller dia. sidecar wheel. I've got a pair of R1150GS wire spoked wheels for the Kay, which will reinforce the Cafe Racer style somewhat.
