Aw come on guys, we're not that niggly are we? Do you know how many boat anchor CBs are out there? They're old bikes and while the orange bike looked 'nice' it was by no means a museum piece. I agree that the seat needs some fettling, flat black is played out like BO and skinny jeans and it needs rearsets but let's allow the kat to learn and improve rather than join together and make him feel bad. Just my 2 cents...

It took almost 1 year to the day from when I brought home my '80 Suzuki GS750L until I finished it. Hope it doesn't have to sit another 3 months waiting for spring to arrive so I can see how it rides. ::)

Throughot the winter; new headlight and mounts, mini gauges, 4into1 exhaust clip-ons and maybe rearsets, and paint.
 
there's also a saying, "if you have a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet"

toss that brain bucket and get a real helmet! 8)
