Where did you get the fairing and what bike is it from ?

It's a custom fairing made from a mold taken off of a laverda race bike. Smaller (shorter) than a ducati fairing but wider, which suits the cx.

Pretty clean Scud, I'd add seat padding, and inner rear fender liner to protect the carbs and some longer pipes and it'd be done in my eyes. I dig the color!

yeah, still trying to find a good upholsterer around my parts. would hate to throw a crappy piece of vinyl on myself, just wouldn't match the other work. for the rear fender, if I was riding in unclean/wet conditions, I'd say it was a must....but the roads here rarely see rain, so the most I'm throwing at the carbs are tiny/sand-like pebbles...still not good, but I'll keep it fenderless. longer pipes would run right into my rearsets, so don't know how to get around that. my sets are angled down and that's the only comfortable position for riding. I still don't know how anyone (taller than maybe 5'10") rides with their sets horizontal to accomodate mufflers. now, if we are talking headers that sit lower with upswept mufflers or something custom, that's a different story! :) I just started welding, so a custom setup is in the future I'm sure 8) would love to have cans on her...but I got to admit, straight pipes with baffles sound pissed off...and I kinda like it haha

Sounds kinda pissed.....like the neighbors.

I'd invest in some pipes, a 2-1 with a decent size reversed megaphone.....you'll also make power. Like this I'd bet dollars to doughnuts you lost power...have any to spare? ;)
Not dingin' you or your bike, just letting you know. You don't see any race bikes with stubby pipes except perhaps drag bikes and they're tuned to make power at the highest and narrowest rpm range.

Just sayin......

Final Shots of the motorcycle just have to put on custom length cables and adjust one of the floats. Runs great and I think the powdercoated tank turn out pretty good.
