did this over last winter . this winter im cleaning it up and doing some maitenence that was overdo ... this bike was my dads , and sat in a barn from 77-2010

Not a fan of the hardtails but I do like the stance and look of the bike in that last pic. I like the flat black and the solo seat.

I like the subtle lace work. Would be cool to do in gloss black over the flat black tank.
 
changed my mind .. i like black tank with gold lace instead lol

Yea I'm clear coating today. And tomorrow .
Also I'm using engine enamel VHT (very high temperatur) paint and clear coat , because it is oil and gas resistant
At least that's what the can says
Yes it's rattle can
3 light coats of clear today ....... Wet sanding tonight after the leafs game ....... And a couple more coats tomorrow morning
It's + 9 today . Gotta get riding soon !!!!!
 
I'd be interested to know how the VHT engine clear holds up to gas. I've got some 2K clear that I bought last year and am saving it up for when I paint eventually, but it's nasty stuff requiring a proper mask etc.
