Fuse pops when headlight turned on (CB450)

I just installed a lithium battery and organized everything into a custom electronics tray... Now, the fuse pops as soon as I flip the headlight switch.

I’ve checked for pinched wires. Even when the wires are all loose and not packed, still pops.

Anything I’m missing?

Are there any basic things I should check?

If you're fuse is popping, you know you have a short somewhere. Time to break out the meter and check the circuits. Hopefully, you've just figured out it's just the headlight circuit.

Thanks for chiming in; Good call... I did bust out the multimeter, and popped open the headlight bucket to get started, but before really digging into it, I realized that the terminals on the lithium battery are totally exposed! (Even seen in the photo I posted). Idk how I missed it, and the spark from the headlight wire must have jumped the wire when stuffed in right under the cafe seat.

I sealed up all of the exposed terminal area, as well as the exposed bolt wiring on the starter relay module... and viola, runs like a beast with no fuse popping. Problem solved!
