Let's see your Garage / Shop

OSB is good, Dock. Gypsum over plywood. Gypsum over plywood. Every shop should be done that way. You can hang pretty much anything anywhere on the walls that way. Just wood is dark and absorbs a bunch of light. Just gypsum is weak.

New shop... This is the day we moved into the house. It's now full of crap lol. It'll take a weekend or two to get it all straight.

Oh man, that's sweet Brother! 8)

You've got some good shop space.

720 sq ft, 24x30. The best part though? The "other" garage for all the lawnmowers and whatnot.

The latest Google Earth image has my relocated garage (last March, a year ago).

Upper section is the shop and parts shelf area, with an outdoor shed roof (not outlined) to the left

Center section is two standard garage bays with a small office and two storage closets (original block bldg)

Lower section is the new 2-1/2 extended bays (32' long) for the bikes that get ridden, and client stuff I'm doing road testing on.

I haven't done the calculations, but I'm pretty sure it's more enclosed square footage than our 28x64 modular home.

Update to the shop

Stained the fence today and cleaned up some

Always packed full and always a freaking disaster. Inventory seems to change every few months and for some reason I'm always broke ::)

Finally getting the shop together. Work trip to Cali next week, then it's time to get the XS chop together.

Looking good Mike, it's too damn clean though LOL. I just spent 2 hour last night cleaning my space and it's only half that neat and tidy, round 2 tonight should get it back to working condition.

Cleaned the place up (a little) and installed some new shelving and another work table for wiring.

Are those tables oak legs with laminate tops? Something from a university surplus maybe? I think we have identical tables.

If we're both talking about the same one (the one on the left), it's our old kitchen table from Ikea that we picked up about 10 years ago. Solid wood, but I don't think it's oak?
