Who's the idiot now?

Dingo

peace and grease
Hey guys, so i was rebuilding the gauge cluster on my bike, fixed some broken tabs, gave it a light sanding and then painted the thing, so I had the bright IDEA of using a box and a hair dryer to do a makeshift curing oven, well I placed the parts inside the box, put the blower in its lowest setting and let it run for 15 minutes. I come back and lo and behold, the paint cured beautifully, not a single scratch left after I tried scratching it with my nails, this is the end result:

Damned things shrunk! Now they're Fubared, so any ideas on what to use as a substitute are much appreciated, I was thinking of using LEDs on a metal strip or something along those lines.

Thanks!

I made a box and hair dryer set up for a video.
It was a big fail, so of course I did not share it on youtube :D

Hey Dingo - is that from a K7? If so, I have a really nice one in working order I can ship PDQ. If not, I have the parts to make this if you're interested?
Doc.

At least I'm not the only one LOL.

Hey Doc Jones, it's from a CB400f, but I suppose they have the same type of gauges. What you did looks nice, care to share some more pics of it?

Thanks!

Sure thing. Here's the link to the build too:
