Can the za50 be modded to go 50? Sure. Do you want to ride one? No. Frame flex like a rubber band, and three inch brake hubs. Build a fun bar hopper, enjoy it for a summer then sell it to a hipster.

I first started building on mopeds and had a really fast puch at one point, after riding and working on bigger bikes, the puch really freaked me out. Building it was fun but riding at speeds was too scary. Parts are still kind of expensive as well so I doubt you will ever get your money back if you build a fast bike, but I guess that is true with almost any bike.
