Picked up a sweet little RD400 Daytona yesterday




Also this purdy little Aluminum Gas Tank, for my HL500

 
I really dislike some of you on here. Especially you, Mr_Dunev. There's never shit like that around here.
 
Found an exhaust to use on the Seeley.
Methinks that it is one of the knock off Yoshi pipes that Carpy had made.....who else would have some stupid "ton up" badge...lol\

Hoping that it is a stainless, because the PO clearly didn't coat it.....
But for the $115 shipped I paid it just want it to work and would be happy with normal mild steel.

It's a carpy and it's mild steel even his crap won't rust that bad. Good price, I used one and hair spray after a good scrub with a red scotty lasts a good while.
 
I assume it is steel.
Wishing it was stainless.

Either way it will give me the look, performance and sound I want.
I am also super crazy silly cheap....so I'm happy.
 
A phase converter for the ole weird drill press, a draw bar, edge finder, quill clamp (roach clip) and the finest Chinese knock off of an American indicol.

$115 shipped is a "steel" for that pipe. those Carpy pipes were/are made by moto gp werks. I can't speak for the mild steel but the fit and finish of the stainless one i have is nicer than most aftermarket systems for UJMs. get that thing painted and it will be awesome.
 
I was giving good advice on the finish, if you want the works look hairspray will keep the rust off for a good while.

This guy I bought the Rickman from is a retired Honda mechanic and former flat track racer. Just to get you drooling, this guy had a few bikes...
