** PICS OF MEMBERS RIDES ** - Official Before & After Thread

@worldcafe: Now THAT's pretty fantastic looking! You should start a thread and throw out some details on the bike. I see lots of nice work there....

Thanks, it looked nicer than it actually was, it had a bunch of mismatched parts from different years and it was a hard decision but in the end decided that I wanted a cafe racer style bike rather than a bike that wasn't really original anyways.

Thanks, it was a fun project. I didn't get it on the road until pretty late in the season though so I haven't ridden it much yet. Hopefully this summer I'll be able to put some miles on it. There's a build thread for it here:

i did these two in the last year. The CB350G i bought in 1983 when i was 16, ran it for two years and developed a seroius oil leak & parked it. Flash forward to 2011, did a total rebuild and cafe conversion. got the bug and picked up a 75 CB750K. The tins are still being painted but the bike is done. Both bikes will be at the Modern Classics bike show at Martin Motorsports in Boyertown PA on March 3rd.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate your kind words about the dreaded CM400. Up next is a 76 GL1000 that will be completely stripped to bare essentials.

Yes, my evil plan to take the GoldWings of the world from recliner lounger to the litre bike it was meant to be is falling in place yet again...(twists handlebar moustache).
Now look deep into my eyes...

I am trying to get a jump on it now, but it may take a bit of time to complete.
