KZ 400 H1 Single Carb. Conversion

I have a 1979 Kawasaki kz400 ltd that has the stock carbs on it. I am looking to do a single carb. conversion using the Mikuni vm34-168. I was wondering if that is an appropriate carb to do a single carb conversion and how far off the jetting would be.
 
Single carb conversions don't work, you will lose power everywhere.
Do a search on the subject. People have fuel distribution problems
especially with the offset carb style.

11th hour industries does a single carb manifold for that bike. They probably have some carb and tuning recommendations for it as well.

I'd agree with Nebr though, everything I've read says it won't run as well as dual carbs.
