Cool, got a picof your bike, any other mods?
I bought it cheap with a scorched head, so I bored the head, turned down the cam and converted it to needle bearings...

Been there, done that (almost EXACTLY)

This bike had the same fairing & bags (still have the bags, actually)

1992 Yamaha TDM850 D, somewhat rare, they only imported them to the 'States in '92 & '93.

This one just needed a battery, fuel pickup screens, fuel lines and spark plugs.

85MPH at 5,000 RPM with PLENTY left on tap. Nice and comfy, EXCELLENT ergos for long-distance, too.

Looks like I'll be selling the '98 KLR650 to abide by the current "buy one, sell one" policy...

Coincidently, my Bro just picked up one of his own. '87 Silverado short/wide, 350/700r4. All OEM except for the drop, wheels, and stereo.

My latest purchases are a 7 friction clutch upgrade for the DS7, and new headlights for the Stepside (to replace the two rock chipped ones).

Nice, let me know if you need any gearbox parts. I have 1 and 3/4 sitting in my shed.

Beautiful survivor; I hope it stays generally unmolested / unrestored. Just clean it up, full maintenance and R-I-D-E!
