I saw this, why doesn't Ducati revive this line? Low tech, air cooled motors. Don't need the new water cooled dual plug heads with abs and all the traction control and ride modes. Sell above the Scrambler and below the Monster and new supersport series of bikes.

harley davidson - $25000 (Denver)
Harley Davidson breakout for sale The reason I'm selling it is because I couldn't find any accessories for it well the actual story is when I went in to purchase at avalanche Harley Davison I told them if they sold it to me they had to provide me with handlebars front and back fender and floorboards in the windshield and sissy bar. I got the handlebars and the sissy bar oil and a oil filter. It's a very hard stiff ride. But looks very pleasing to the eyes . I was not able to keep up with any of the other motorcycles over 650cc. I road around for about 500 miles oil change 2050 and I went up to Mount Evans around town and a few other scenic places at about 1000 miles range it was so loud I change the oil again with a new filter. Engine so loud I couldn't hear over the top end engine noise so I took it in for warranty check up I was told that everything was running fine and that loud top in engine chatter was nothing to worry about and I was given the impression that this was a pay to ride situation over and beyond for $25,000 price tag .
If I were to compare this Harley Davison to the Kawasaki about the Kawasaki voyager change your oil on it whenever he gets dirty that's about every 2000 miles I change the oil in it at 500 miles 1000 miles and it 2500 and is due again here soon at five Thousand miles i've never had any problems with it it's nice and quiet very good soft ride. Kawasaki calls me all the time beg me to bring it in for them to look at it but there's nothing wrong with it maybe a few slight adjustments I can get from them later. Kawasaki Beats Harley Davidson on service The Harley Davison seems to handle very nicely but has real loud engine chatter. The quiet that down it's going to take parts and labor and it's brand new. Maybe someone else can deal with that. I'm gonna keep my Kawasaki. When I talk to the general manager at Apache he told me I would have spent about $5000 to make this bike comfortable. I thought I was going to get a lifetime ride for $25,000 wrong !
