Hi all,

It's been a while since I was on here. Sadly some time back my ace was stolen. In any case, with moving house I have found some bits and pieces that may be of use to someone here. Pickup would be essential (Elwood, Melbourne, Australia). If you'd like anything in the picture, send me a message, and as far as money goes, just throw us something reasonable,  but please don't get silly about it. I'd rather the parts get used by someone  :)

Ps. The seat pan was made by suus customs for a project I never quite got around to. And the brackets next to them are for converting a front fender to a rear fender because I was not a great fan of the rear one (ended up just removing it all together, but there was a possible problem legally, needing a rear fender)

generic Chinese eBay seat mate, they go for around $70-200 USD

just FYI the bracket doesn't line up so you must be a little inventive

Hi Acethusiasts,

I bought a new headlight, but the cables are a bit too short. Just one question, how is this connector called? Does it has a specific name.

And, btw, I bought new `bling bling` accesory for my Baby. See 2nd pic.

I just got these: not bad for the money, I crimp and solder then and, I will add a small amount of dielectric grease to keep moisture from corroding the terminals.

6,4 and 2 pin connector kit same as you have.

You could also look at

or even

I like the price of the link that Tune came up with too.

Too hot and too humid to ride, but went for a short run this morning.

The 'Ace' ran well but Sydney's summers have lost their charm!

I would like to ride..., OH, I really hate winter now.

BTW, nice tank, stroker.

First of all, thank you for building such a brilliant library of information on the Ace. This has really de-risked my buying decision and I picked up a 2016 secondhand Ace, with 1500kms on the clock, this morning.

Took a 25km ride home and had a massive ear to ear smile by the time I parked her up.

Immediate priorities will be to sort the handling and brakes but she will be my daily commute whilst I spend any free spanner time restoring her big brother.

Thanks again and safe riding

Welcome to the crew!

Once you get the 'Ace' sorted to suit yourself you will find it addictive.  Big brother looks like it would be pretty useful as well.
