It's probably too early to start a thread for this thing, but here we goooooo...

I just brought home this 1977 GL1000. 



It's still a bit in the air what will become of this monster, but one thing's for sure:  it will travel.

You know a trailer hitch and a small trailer and you could tow the XL with you and have the best of both worlds for trips.

I was thinking that or a side hack that would carry the XL.

  Thanks, Bud.  Not finding them in Augusta either.  This town is totally void of anything decent or vintage.  I got the 350 from Columbia and the GL from a buddy north of Charlotte.

Work on a front fairing begins. 
Somehow I have to figure out how to deal with the brake components on the lower triple. 
They seem to kind'a stick out there.
