Product Review: Evapo-rust
« on: May 26, 2015, 16:45:22 »
Evapo-rust, the name pretty much sums it up. Submerge a rusty part in the solution overnight, and return to a rust free part.
I've been pulling miscellaneous nuts/bolts of of my bikes and dropping them in overnight. No muss, no fuss. They come out almost like new.
Bro used it to clean the surface rust out of two fuel tanks. The transformation is amazing.
And it's non toxic and environmentally safe. In fact, they recommend spraying the used solution on your lawn to keep it green for weeks.
Official Review: This stuff works!

+1. This is a great product.  Keep in mind that it removes more than rust.  It will also remove cad plating leaving bare steel if you leave parts submerged for long enough, which is not much longer than it takes to remove rust.  I like this product and use it a lot, but like anything else it's use has considerations.
