WTB - Akront TR style WM4 / 2.50x18 *** 36 hole or 40 hole rim ***

***UPDATE - GIT A RICKMAN 40H HUB SO LOOKING FOR A 40H OR 36H RIM NOW***

Like the title says,
I'm searching for an Akront TR style WM4 / 2.50x18 36 hole rim (or similar cosmetic match in Borrani/Morad or knock-off).
I have a 4.25x18 wm9 40 hole for the rear to lace to my Rickman hub so that I can run a 150/70-18 on this 125hp beast of a GS1000-1105cc engine, but all I can find up front is a 2.15x18 or else a silver anodised DID rim of similar profile that would need stripped of the anodizing (p.i.t.a.) and polished to match.

Thanks for your help

Yes, Rickman hubs are 40 hole, but I was unable to find a Rickman front dual disc hub. I thought I found one, but it turned out to be nearly identical in appearance but actually is Italian Scarab-Mozzi 70's Superbike hub that looks 95% like a Rickman. Close enough for this given how hard they are to come by. The front hub that is a cosmetic match to the Rickman is a 36 hole

I was originally searching for a Borrani shouldered flanged rim like the original Rickmans, but they only go up to 3.00x18 wm5, & I am putting out A LOT of horsepower and needed something more substantial in terms of rear rubber.

You should confirm the rim profile, but I've used MikesXS rims in the past with success.

No luck at Mikes XS, those are the taller flanged shouldered H profile but they don't have them in 2.15 front, only flat sidewalls, so the size combo I am always trying to budget shop for is not available from them in the same style rims. I'm always looking for a cheap source af wider aluminum rims in 2.15x18 ft and 2.50 or 3.00x18 rear... Mikes hasn't found em yet. XS650's don't need that much tire and that seems to be what Mikes caters to

2 front Scarab-Mozzi-Motor Italian dual disc 70's Italian superbike hubs (36h) next to a Rickman CR rear hub... all 3 & the undrilled 11" Rickman rotor are NOS never used!!! The drilled 10" Rickman rotor has seen some serious use and will see more in the future on my build!

I mentioned confirming the profile because the picture of the rim they use does not match the diagram of the profile in the description. They have sold non flanged rims in the past and the profile diagram suggests this is non flanged.

Unless I misunderstood your response?

WTB - Akront TR style WM4 / 2.50x18 ** 40H OR 36H **

Update - I'm looking for an Akront TR 2.50x18 or 3.00x18 in ***36H or 40H** as I now have both a Scarab-Mozzi hub (nearly a Rickman clone) & an actual Rickman front wheel with a 1.85x18 Borrani H profile (original style to Rickmans but won't match my rear Akront TR (stepped deep drop center + very short sidewall vs valanced&flanged H profile tallest sidewall of any rims)

I picked up a 3.50x18 40h front but I can't get ultra high performance sport or race rubber in 120/70-18 (only sport touring tires for heavier s/t machines), best I can do is Continental RoadAttack 2 sport touring(pretty good tire but ugly tread for a vintage & only comes 160/65-18 rear - slightly too wide on 4.25 rim), Pirelli Angel GT, Bridgestone T30. The Conti seems the best but on a 2.50x18 I can get Avon Super Venom AM## 110/80-18 & 150/65-18, & also Bridgestone BT016 Pro Hypersport radial 110/80-18 & 150/70-18 - designed for 80's sport bikes and customs and is a legit DOT track day tire (droooooollllll....)
Lots of bias ply options in 150/70 & 110/80-18 as well.
