Hello!

Just bought my first motorcycle. A Custom built Honda XL600R 1987
The bike runs great, but there was some small electrical issues so i decided to start my first project rewiring + adding motogadget + blinkers.
I am drawing up my first wiring diagram, and i am looking for some advice.
Im pretty sure i got most of the basic stuff sorted out. But i am not sure about the most important stuff. (regulator/rectifier/cdi/coil)
My speedo also has one connection for the flasher light. What do i need so the two blinkers dont short each other?
I kept the old stator. (seems to work fine) Might buy a new if recommended. Both cdi and regulator rectifier is new from ricksmotorsports.

CDI:

Ive also looked at the shop manual located at http://www.hondaxl.it/manuali.htm but the cdi has an older connection.

I would really appreciate some help.

For the CDI, ask Rick's for a diagram. They will hopefully have a pinout. If it still doesn't make sense after getting the documentation, post it up here and we can take a look.

For the single dashboard indicator light for the speedo, you're going to want a diode pack. We have them on our site for a few dollars. The diode pack only allows current to flow in one direction, so it's like a Y, with power coming in on the left and right signals at the top of the Y and exiting the bottom to go to the dashboard light. http://www.sparckmoto.com/products

Thanks! Ordered some diodes then e-mailed Rick's!
