Post a pic of your latest purchase

Yz450 fender, hid headlight and chinesium second hand "bark busters" for the dr650. The stock front fender is notorious for acting as a wind sail at highway speeds. The yz one is supposed to help minimize that, and looks way less dated to boot.

I picked up new tires for the SM to make it more dirt friendly. I also ordered a new battery. Hoping to get the motor back together this weekend and having it running mid week.

Just traded a CB200 for a ‘67 CZ360
Wow, nice score Irk. Original forks and hubs, upgraded with alloy rims is a great start to make a great bike. You probably know this already, but parts are plentiful for them, Northwest Maico in Pa. are the first that come to mind.
Hope you start a thread on it.

How about what you did with your latest purchase? Picked up a bunch of rotary abrasive tools and polishing wheels for my air grinder from HF. Proceeded to polish up the valve covers from the Hunley. One is (for the most part) finished, the other still in-progress.

Tag says June '72 but by the looks of the emblem on the tank and diagrams I've encountered, seems to be a 1973 Kawi G4TR-C trail boss. Low miles, direct injection two smoke, hopeful-reliable 100cc. Paid $250 here in Nevada. Seems mostly there and parts are available, looking to ride the Sierras with the misses!

Deal of the year.

Long story won't go here.

Bottom line: My late friend's 1971 BMW R75/5 with buckled frame and ground-up rear gearbox/hub. Made his widow an offer and she accepted it happily.

"hunchback" frame indications are clearly visible; this was Nacho with his fresh paint, back about 2002...

How I got the bike last November...

Frame & rear gearbox replaced, awaiting petcocks and battery...

got quoted $500 for an oil change, tune and carb balance on the Vmax the other week....I can do the rest myself so I bought a set of carb gauges for $85 on ebay so now I can do my own full services.
did the carbs the other day, a lot easier than I thought and what a difference it makes

Looks good, what year 16 or 17.

I like my taco. They run and drive great.

Not directly MC related, but certainly the best purchase I've made for my shop. 12,000 BTU propane heater. I'm getting a 100# tank from the local propane supplier, it'll cost me $45 to fill and I shouldn't have to do that more than once a year. We tried the electric heater thing, but even "efficient" ones made the electric meter look like a helicopter. This should be more efficient for my use. This year we'll be here all winter, but most years we'll be in warmer climes during the coldest months.

Good stuff, Corey. I have a similar unit and it does the job well as far as Augusta cold goes.
