Nice link there. I've been trying to figure out what to do with my battery area on the XS. Number plates might be the way to go! Leave all the ugly where it is and lose the side covers both.
 
I saw those in your thread, if you want to ditch a couple pm me a price. I was thinking I'd just make some, but those are cool.
 
Wow, I sure would like to find a seat like the one on that black XS400! That is about perfect for my project. :)
 
nicest xs400 I've seen. They sell dang cheap too, I recall around $300 mark (and they were street ready!)
