Bringing up a US bike

I'm looking at a 78 CB750 K Located in Trumbull CT.

I was wondering if anyone has ever had a bike shipped up from the states to Canada, and how much trouble you got into at the boarder... The bike is $1000 US.

Or, if anyone has a handle on something better / in Canada for the same price?

Here's a Pic:

I've brought a few back from the States..not too much BS to go through.
You do have to fax US Customs the title of the bike 72 hours before you export the bike from the USA, other than that, it's just taxes and such..because the bike is more than 15 years old, you are exempt from the RIV tax (Registrar of Imported Vehicles)

You can get a better bike in Ontario for that money.

Yeh, and if the guy jerks you around you can go burn his house down. Well, I guess you could burn the guy in Trumbull CT's house down, but that's a long drive for revenge!!!

Let us know what you get, remember.....can of gas and matches. ;)

LOL... I tried to steal his bike at the Jan show right from the VRRA booth...
Im still living in a cardboard box, but the good news is, the doctors believe I'll be able to walk someday!!.. LOL
