Hi Liam

Was it hard to remove the grips on both ends of the original handle bar, to relocate to the clip-on's ? I wanted to also fit clip on's, or maybe change the stock handlebar to a set of Jota's, but am not sure how to remove the grips, throttle, etc.

With your speedo tidy up, did you consider installing a tacho also ?

Hi Haz,

i use WD40 with the straw, shove it under the grip and give it a squirt then work the grip off and use hairspray to slide them back on then it sets into place.

If she does, use a window cleaner, that works fine too ;-)
 
I think she has started to loosen up, hit 100 on the way to work with the standard gearing.

I will be doing the valves and an oil change this weekend try and keep things tip top.
 
Valve adjustment this morning.

Skyteam cover off,

Screw cap thing removed and T lined up,

Valves adjusted to 0.05mm turned over and checked again perfect tried to get a 0.07mm gauge in the gap didn't go so happy the gap is actually 0.05.

While the skyteam cover was off I thought I would off the logo,
Nearly there with a bastard cut.

Cleaned up with a 2nd cut,

Them some wet sanding with 1000 grit,

A quick polish with auto sol and it's back on!
