Liam's ACE 125

Wow ! - yes, it looks very good indeed ... the stainless finish really stands out against the black & silver ...

Did you have to cut the header pipe to suit the length / position of the silencer? How about space for the rear brake pedal when pressed?

And ... most of all, how does it sound ?!! Love to know your opinion on ride differences 'before' and 'after' the EGR, exhaust and re-jetting.

Part 2 of the fork pre load and oil change.

First built myself a custom ACE stand. With a hole cut into it of the sump plug so it sits nice and square.

One fork leg out. One to go.

One thing just leads to another! I should have stripped it down and put it back together how I wanted it.

God it looks like a construction site ! - but the end results has got to be worth it ! ... thanks for all the updates, it's very interesting to follow your progress, Liam. Don't think I'll be attempting anything that drastic !!

And the forks are back on with the modded crown.

The header just slips inside the silencer as it only has a baffle in the back half so I'm going to leave the header full length as I believe this helps these little motors.

There should be enough clearance bit I will see when I get it fitted up properly this coming week.

Can't wait to get it started and have a listen, probably won't happen til next weekend now.

Hey Liam .. the clipon's look very chunky, nice job !

How did the replacement exhaust go? I ended up ordering this silencer from 00racing, hope it's a little more 'muffled' like in the youtube vids ... their website says "sounds great like a 600cc bike" ... hmmm, not holding my breath but crossing my fingers!! hehe ...

I should be able to get it started this weekend, I will get a vid of it running and post it up.

Can't wait to get it going again.

New front tyre on, back tyre half off turns out a little WD40 on the beading and the tyre pops straight off, only took 20 mins of struggle to figure that out!

Rear tyre, shoes on Chain and brake adjusted. Wheel true and tight.

And obviously the best thing the new stainless clip.
