For those living in OZ who are interested in racing, i just happened across this page that says the skyteam ace is now allowed to compete in the bucket racing class

From what I can see, the frame was homologated. You wouldn't wanna use the whole thing to race, even in commuter, the cbr125's would leave you behind. LoL
