How did you guys do this? Just cut off the end of the grip, or...?

I'm following that guide and I have been able to hammer-in the bar end stoppers on the throttle side. However on the clutch side I can't budge it no matter how hard I hit. Any one have any tips?

I used an air chisel. They are stuck in with epoxy. Hit really hard
