Needing some help, looking for a 750k fuel lid that is already messed up so I can cut and tinker to add this cool latch over the key lock. Anyone have or know anybody that would part with a scrap fuel door

Yep I have two.

Had to register just to post here.

I'll be following this through to the end. Great looking build, you definitely have the skills to pay the bills.

Excellent.

Added a cowling section on the seat to match the flow of the tank. Will smooth the weld ridges and Bondo before paint

That rear brake is not gonna work, the pivot point is way too far back from the swing arm axle you need to raise it and pull the shocks so you can move the swing arm up and down to see what I'm talking about... also, good luck finding neutral.

Sweet bike tho

Run your linkage forward to the stock brake shaft. It'll allow you to run the stock light switch, and return spring, and you won't have your brake dragging everytime you hit a bump.

On the shift side, figure out how to run a straight rod. Kinked rod is going to flex.

Foam..what a bitch lol. Comfy though. Now I have to clean this garage up bevcause it looks like snow in Phoenix. Ready to send to apholstery

Decided to make my own switchgear after seeing the price tags online. Baught an aluminum block and micro switches and this is what they turned out as. I want to keep the handles clean and classy so I used the clutch and brake lever mounts.

Nice work on the switches - got anymore info/pics on how they were made & mounted?
So I found "the" set of what I wanted to buy from extremecreations.com but a $350 price tag was not feasible. Baught an aluminum block from Amazon with 6ea $7 micro switches and milled them out on a friend's machine.Made a template out of wood with the holes drilled and copied it once it fit correct. No pics on the process of it, didn't think of it at the time

Received the new 4-2 exhaust from cycle x and it is awesome. Next to make the left side hangar. Carbs are all torn apart and cleaned, just polishing the top hats and float bowls till I can get the rebuild kits
