XT600 cafe before and after

Finally complete after a couple years.

Thanks for the kind words.
I used a TX500 tank and a cafe seat bought off of ebay. The tank and seat were painted a dark blue from a 68 mustang. I also had the painter copy the strip from the gt350 mustang. I installed R1 rearsets and rear master cylinder. I added a rear wheel and caliper from 92 xt600. I had the frame, rims, and hubs powdercoated black. The clipons I found on ebay also. The speedo/tach is a trail tech vapor. The header pipes are from a SRX600 and I added keihin dual 31mm carbs.

Nice work! I assume this is an oil-in-frame XT600. If so, how difficult was it to mount the TX500 tank with the oil return fitting near the mounts? Also, are the Keihin 31mm carbs off a Kaw EX250 or separate?
 
I think someone just went with a smaller oil-tank from a tenere model, as it sits right above the left footrest. Nice work!
