Evening all.

Does anyone know the dimensions/guage/whatever of the rear wheel spokes-have just found one snapped at the bend on offside?

I presume its a bog standard 90 degree bend.

Any thoughts on a supplier too?

Thanks folks.

year, make, and model of bike would help to get you the info you need

The post is in the Skyteam Ace section, so I'd assume that bike (like Kamn I saw the post perhaps on the front page as a recent entry without knowing what section it was in so was also confused).

Besides eBay, Buchanan Spokes is my go-to source for all things spoked-wheel related.

Looks like you can get them direct from Skyteam

How old is the bike? I'd bet they'd send you a replacement for free (or they bloody well should).

Yup, saw it on the front page and didn't realize it was in the Skyteam section.....sorry ma man

See details for replacement spokes in here with other part numbers...

Tip top!

Always forget about that superb spreadsheet...!

Got the part numbers and off to the really rather excellent Hammonds in Cirencester tomorrow.

Cheers all you good people.

Now if anyone can figure out the front wheel spoke part numbers that would be brilliant, just add them to the spreadsheet, it is open for any of you to edit.

Cheers

Am I missing something or is the Skyteam parts page not correct? Seems like every part number for the entire bike is here.

Some people have had trouble with the SkyTeam spokes and are looking for an alternative from Honda (or such).

I must be lucky as I have not had a broken spoke (yet)!

Crazy

And those that have ordered from Sktyteam.com have not been best pleased with the service, to put it politely.

Spokes breaking seems common on the Ace.

I am not sure that the Skyteam spokes are faulty. But they are not delivered trimmed from the factory. A screwdriver plays a very untuneful tune on them in the showroom. Not at all sure, but perhaps on the bikes where owners/dealers trimmed the spokes early on, there are no problems?

Cheers

Was one of the first issues with mine. Had to tune the spokes. Wheel was oval. Some spokes was extremly tight, and others was totally loose.
