1973 Cb350G Right Hand Controls Wiring

Been Around the Block
I picked up a 73 350G last year. The previous owner had something go bad with the starter switch, and they remedied it with a trip to the local RadioShack. I picked up a used set of controls from ebay, but they appear to be a couple of wires short. Coming out of the bucket I have a couple of extra wires with no available mates - Yellow/Striped Red and White/Striped Yellow. Are my controls a couple of wires short? I assumed these were all the same - starter, kill switch, starter button, low/high beams. What am I missing here?

Some models had the headlight switch on the right control (early years) and some (later years) had them on the left.

Yellow/red should match up to the starter button on the right control (from any year).

Blue and white are high and low beam, respectively. These should connect to the left control.

If you've upgraded to a modern regulator/rectifier (we have the one you need on our website for $35), or if your headlight is setup to be always on, then you can splice the yellow/white and yellow wires together. If you have a stock headlight switch, then the wiring from that control should include a yellow and a yellow/white wire to connect in with the harness.
