Need some help, front end for a Nighthawk 250

Been Around the Block
My son, new rider, had an "incident" while practicing riding the 1995 Nighthawk 250 what I bought him. He is fine (was wearing full gear), however the bike is not.

Forks and wheel are bent. Aside from the exact same bike, what front ends are interchangeable?

glad he is ok :) if the forks aren't too badly bent they can be straightened, wheels a little research should take care of cross ref on fitment
 
He's ok and in good spirit. My motorcycle friends have been supportive and my non-motorcycle friends think I'm crazy for letting him get back on. He says he wants to get back on and continue learning.

I'll have to check into the fork straightening. Thanks.
 
Yeah you can also buy new fork stantions everywhere online. A new fork seals and new bushings and your in there depending on how bad things inside look.
 
Turns out frame is f-ed.

Called the insurance company to come out and total it.

Thanks for the advice guys. Looks like we're looking for another motorcycle.
 
Well, the insurance company came through.

Picked up a 2002 250 Nighthawk. Newer, less miles, and we came out a few bucks ahead. Since it's essentially the same bike, nobody will know.
