It's pretty hard to find a jacket with shoulder/elbow/back protection that doesn't make you look like a "Power Ranger".
Those of us who are not as resilient as when we were younger, need all the help we can get. ;)

I tried on one of these at Barber: http://www.heldusa.com/santana.html
I liked the fit and quality, the color matches my steel-toe engineer boots, but the sleave length may be a little short for me.
Any one else found a new jacket that looks right on old bikes.

I have this jacket.

I'm pretty impressed with the quality considering the low price. On a scale from 1-10 I'd say the finish or shine is a 7. I wish it had a more dull look, but I'm pretty happy for only $150. I wanted the vintage look with armor, but didn't want to spend $400 on my first jacket, didn't know if I'd even like riding.

They have a badass vintage brown, but was out of stock at the time I bought it, no armor though.

I would definitely buy from them again, cheap enough to have a variety of looks and good quality. You can always send the it back too.

I also was looking at this, a little different than the others.

I bought one of these at Barber this year that was already broken in for $40. Mine does not have the armor though. I like it and it has a nice vintage look.

This one looks nice if you arelooking for a tradionally styled "Biker" jacket:

This one is nice too...

This is the one I am probably about to buy:

Or maybe this one, I can't decide between the two.

If you want any of the above to look more vintage, just simply wear it everywhere, throw it down when you take it off, get grease on it, etc... It will look vintage soon enough. If that's not fast enough, slather it down with leather conditioner and throw it in the dryer with some old sneakers.

Thanks for the links to the leather-up website. So far I'm still diggin' the Held Santana the best, but I've got time to shop around.

Along those lines, this one was a bargain from Jafrum. Worn it a lot lately since it's gotten cold. Really a lot nicer and heavier than its price indicates. Not armored, but padded pretty well.
