I can't tell if they are Avon's or Shinkos. Or something else I don't know of.

Look kind of like Shinko 240s, but I dont think that's what they are. All I can say for sure is that they're barely functional.

Think they're Avon speedmaster rear tires. I have that tire on the ass end of my rigid project.

they look sweet with the rims black, Im sure they arent some racing 17" rubber off of an R1 but they look perfect on this kind of ride.

They do look pretty. Until you try and stop or maneuver quickly and end up under the SUV that just cut you off. Then, not so much.

Yup - when you've built a bike that otherwise looks designed for speed/handling with the low bars, dual front disc brakes etc, it needs proper shoes. Like putting boat shoes on Usain Bolt. He'll run fast, but ask him to stop or change direction he'll be in deep shit.
