acewell 3853 display on the fritz?

Hi guys. I fitted one of thee units to my 400F http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=28160.0 sometime ago and it's been fine up until now. The bike doesn't get a lot of use, and I started it up after about 4 months of sitting, and the digital display doesn't work. The warning lights and the gauge backlight all work, but none of the LCD components energise. The battery went flat in the process (but has since been recharged) if that has any bearing on the matter? I've checked all the connections, and they seem to be getting the power they need.

Do you think the display has died? I can't find any answers on the Acewell site
