At about 100 miles a tank, that's more like 10 tanks, but still, very low miles...

Oddly, My CB360 get's slightly less mileage (MPG) then my Nighthawk 750. I have trouble wrapping my head around it, that the 100 pound heavier bike with 2x the displacement gets better mileage.

My Cb360 gets about 45 MPG, my 750 about 47 MPG. That average...

I have had as high as 54 MPG with the 750, all highway, long trip. Never had that high with the 360.

I never understood how a person only puts 1500 miles on a bike, and then just says...."meh".
Cool find!

I'm going to hopefully fill in more later but here is where I'm.at now.

Well i don't know the full story on this bike but from the damage to the bike i can speculate. Rear fender has road rash on the rear edge slightly then more on the left corner. Left grip has been pushed onto the end of the bar. One of the tailight screws is ground down. The gas rank has 3"x3" dent on the left side but no scratches.
Id say someone bought this bike to learn how to ride. They popped the clutch with the engine revved. The bike stood straight up (picture the Lone Ranger) then fell over onto the left side, the drivers thigh stopping the bike via the gas tank.

Or someone was trying to restore it and it flipped over while resting on a milk crate. ;) JK Looks like your doing some fine work.

Update. Things are coming together nicely. Just waiting for mufflers at this point.
