  • New tires for the Hunley are in, and lower brake lines from 4in1. I think both will wait until after the Karns show next weekend.

  • Oh and figured out another thing wrong, the GL came with a 35/55 bulb in 79, the new one I got is a 55/60 watt and is sucking too much juice at Idle and buggering the ignition a little that is amplified by the off timing LOL, I found a lower watt bulb to throw in until I can buy a Sparck Moto LED

  • And I just re-read the instructions for timing the GL and I made an error and caused some of my poor running, that will get sorted tonight or tomorrow.

  • Speen limit goes from 50 - 30 there and a lot of folks don't slow either so a run through the sign can get you hit at 50+mph.

  • There is one intersection on my run, at the bridge in grafton, the traffic is not a lot so a lot of folks burn the stop sign coming off the 585 heading into town. I have the right of way on the 105 but I always am hyper vigilant there, been almost hit too many times in cars and on the bike

  • Wildlife is more of a concern, although a lady ran a stop and almost clipped me this morning. If I was in a car she'd been dead, but I saw her going through, hit the horn to wake her up then swerved around her, the car would not have been so nimble

  • I feel you, I used to have a cage filled traffic jam commute but out here on the bike I don't stay stuck behind a slow care for long

  • which is why I don't really ride to work that often, well that and it's going to hit 101 degrees in town today
