Today made LED bulbs for my CB750F tail/stop light. Got those superbright LEDs for free from friend who dissassemled big LED TV screen... The only problem was to unsolder, dissconnect and clean them ;D
8 LEDs used for stop signal, 4 for tail light. Different resistance used in 150-200 Ohm range (free also). Fiberglass plastic with foil used for base.

Freeeking bright 8)

Thats cool...
I got my LEDs from JD Motorcycle Lighting & Accessories in Mississauga:
http://www.jdcustomlighting.com
They build custom LEDs specifically for our older bikes that run from a Stator not an Alternator...

mabe you could start selling them to the members!!

Re: LEDs for stop/tail light

Selling them ??? ::) No, it will be too expensive ;D Cheaper to buy manufactured ones ;D ;D ;D

Your like a LED mad scientist !
I am curious to see how your LED headlite turns out (been thinking about doing something like that
for a long time). Your gonna be able to run your bike on a Double A battery when you are all said
and done ! ;D

Hey, PT55!
I don't want to make my headlight bright ;D I just need it working 8) ... for cops ;D. And i gonna use only one AAA ::)
