Soda Blasting Gasketed Surfaces

Hey there! Thanks in advance for the advice. I'm getting ready to clean up my torn-down 1973 cb175 engine components and after degreasing, I plan on soda-blasting the heck out of everything. I was wondering if gasketed surfaces, and especially the crankcase sealing surface (basically any sealing surface) are safe to be blasted. Does anyone have any experience with this? Can I just go to town on any surface since the stuff is fairly non-abrasive and washes clean? I'd like to hit valve seats, pistons...etc. with the stuff if it's safe.

Thanks! 8)

Blast to your heart and wallets content with soda

Dont touch gasket surfaces with sand or anything else except maybe walnut shells.
