D4N63R- Unfortunately, no, I dont have any more pics of it. I should have taken more pics of all the little detailed parts.... Basically all I did was made a cardboard template, traced it out on sheet metal, cut, and bent with a bench brake, and actually a piece of steel pipe for the rounded part. The idea was to mimic an oil tank, and have a place to hide the battery/electronics.
Killman- Thanks for the pony, lol The colors I chose were left over from previous jobs my dad had done (he's a bodyman/painter). The blue is late model chevy, the red is the color that the nova in the second pic ended up getting painted, and the silver......I have no idea where that came from.
axelcrypt- Stamped frame.....ya, lots of fun. The sportster tank that's on the bike has a really small mounting tunnel, so I had two options: Make the tunnel bigger to fit the frame and sacrifice fuel capacity, or modify the frame. What went in the frame was a chunk of sched. 40 pipe that was laying in the dirt down the embankment in front of my parents house. How my dad remembered it was there, and how it happened to be the perfect diameter, I don't know. Saved me from buying a piece, though.
