CB400f Cam installion

Hi

finishing up my top end and have a few questions. I went to put the cam in asp per the manual. Set the crank to 1-4 T mark and lined up the cam sprocket with cyl 4 lobes down and cyl 1 lobes up. Wondering if there is a possibility of this being backwards. am I over thinking this?

as long as you have it on all the marks you are good
cam to crank ratio is a 2 to 1 deal so if you think that through you can see it

The cam it self has no mark on it

how about the sprocket it has a line mark ?

Yes. All I'm wondering is does is does it matter if u have the cam flipped. Is there a zero point on the crank that's related to the cam

and be careful putting the rocker cover back on
back off the adjusters and use some rubber bands to lift the adjuster ends up

back to front or upside down? Have a look to see which side the tach worm gear is.

Xb explained it. As long as cam sprocket is lined up its fine
