i love your build!kke up the good stuff!

Thanks Ryan!

Lot's more to come very soon - I've got a biiiig shopping list for the next round of parts for the build that should be ordered and coming in the next week if all goes to plan!

Hell yeah, the front-end is now back in place! Quite pleased with how things are shaping up and it sure is nice to have her sitting on both wheels again (not jacked up like a stooge). Anyway, a heap more pictures and further info on the post I just made on my blog:

Hell yeah! New tyres fitted!

For those of you following this build and interested about the tyre choice - I opted with Heidenau K60 tyres as they gave the perfect balance of performance and "toughness".

The sizes I've fitted are as follows:
Front: 120/90-18 (rear tyre)
Back: 130/80-18 (rear tyre)

Yep - two rear tyres fitted. More info and a heap more pics in my related post on my blog:

Received another package from MotorWorks in the UK. Contained a bunch of stuff for getting closer to completion. I've whipped up a little post with further information on my blog:

It's not urgent, but if anyone has some recommendations for tank paint/design, I'd love to hear what you have to say!

The last picture below is a just a bit of my toying around with ideas for the tank.

Wow glad I found this one, very cool.

Thanks Maritime! I'm glad you like it thus far :)

A load of work will have been completed by this time next week - I'm aiming to have this build ready for "shakedown" within the fortnight 8)

Dude, the bike sounds great, you're doing an excellent job. I dig how you supported the seat pan. Keep it up!

Thanks a million JohnGoFast! Really appreciate the positive feedback :)

I'll post another video of the bike running when I've picked up the mufflers I'm going to be fitting. My idea is to fit side-mouth "turn out" mufflers (one on each side) ;)

I'm truly stoked with how strong the seat pan is and how comfortable the padded seat is (even without the final soft layers added!)

Aaaaaaand the seat is officially done! A quick post and pics on my blog, as always:

I love the eagle. Had a variation of it painted on the hood of my B5 A4 Avant in college. Loved that car (and still managed to destroy it).

Tracking this build.

Hahaa! Hell yeah Cursh, I love the Bundesadler too ;)

I've currently got the decal under construction, but it should be ready any day now! Then it is time to paint my tank (can't wait!)

Oh man! I truly appreciate the offer of assistance Ryan!

Fortunately (for the time being) I've seemingly got everything I need to bring this one to completion, but I'll keep that in mind! Down here in Australia, the beloved airheads are in high demand and are a lot more scarce than in Europe!
