1979 Honda cb650z cafe build

On two wheels now. Getting closer. Ordered a Pingel fuel petcock with steel bung. Also order a frenched site glass. Once these are in I have a shop lined up to tig weld into my tank, then test. Then lined and off to paint.

love the pipe angle. it'll be loud though, mine is high, but not as far forward as that and it can get to you a little.

make sure you wear your earplugs with the pipe like that. Maybe tip it back a little, should still look ok but will direct the loud back more.

pipe will likely sit a couple of inches lower but same angle. Might be a bit loud but I have another baffle that fits inside if it gets too loud. I use to ride a Harley so I'm use to loud. This bike is built for zipping around the city and maybe a hwy or two. Probably will not see any long trips.

This is amazing. I'm currently in the process of converting a cb650 custom. Would love to see an update on this.
