That photo was taken with the clip-ons, which lowers the bike by a few inches. Here's the bike with the stock bars, I'm going to stick with these. When the bike is on it's side stand, the leading edge of the battery is about 5.5 inches off the ground.

What type of battery did you use? They look like lifepo4s. I’m thinking 18650 cells for their density but there is the problem of a weak setup. Few bumps and it might fall to bits. I don’t know how to solve that one yet
