I counted days on mine. Totaled up to over 800 days long although not continuous work.

Wow! Yeah I don't have that in mine. Tickled though. Started it this weekend, cranks right up, idles and takes the gas pretty well. Still need to check the valve clearance, put the master in the chain and safety wire a few nuts in place.

Finally got around to fabbing the tank mount. Incorporated the tank mount into the. Regulator/rectifier mount, which i moved to get a little bit more clearance on rear shock travel. Every ounce counts, or in this case doesn't lol.

It rides! Clutch was way out of whack, pulled it back in line some and tried it again. #1 carbs float is stuck, open. I'm bleeding off battery voltage at an alarming rate. Front and rear shocks/springs are very stiff. This was expected as light as the bike was turning out. Anyone have contacts for springs and re-valving? Haven't weighed it yet, but might today this Carolina Panthers game is over.

Been pretty busy over over the summer, working a lot out of town. Got the seat done and have cyclex's alternator & ignition to install at the house. Road it a while last time I was home, a 345lbs cb 750 is waaaaay faster than a 525lb cb750, miles of smiles.

So. I've hooked up the Cyclex charging system as well as their ignition system. I have it up and running but I don't seem to be charging. Drops to 12.4v while running and back to 13.+ with key off. I have no factory wiring on this bike. Sent an email to cyclex a couple weeks back but haven't gotten a reply yet. Haven't called them since I'm out of town when they are open. Anyone an expert here? The rotating assembly doesn't seem to go on as far as it looks like it should. 3 yellow wires are idiot proof. The black wire says to ground to the chassis in one place and to the negative battery post in another, currently the latter. The red wire is currently wired into the ignition circuit.

I have the same charging system. I don't have any problems with it charging on mine. I can't remember the wiring but I could look tomorrow for you. Is it the podtronics r/r?

I saw no name on it. It's not the one pictured on their website. Where do you have your black and red wires connected?

It’s probably a podtronics. Mine didn’t look like the one on the website either. I’ll look in a few and get back to you. Sorry, I was working on my Nighthawk all day yesterday.

Here you go, I ran the black to green earth and the red to the hot lead. I believe its the black ignition wire. Here’s a pic
