Hi Guyz,

My name is Geert and i am from The Netherlands.
I like this forum alot
Just wanna show you mij build.

I picked up an old XS750 1977.
The bike was in a very bad condition.
The only good thing was the engine.
The thing took only 250 euro out off my wallet, so no big deal.

Hi Ryan,

Thanks man.
I didn't do anything to the engine. The second gear has no problem.
The engine was the only good part of the motor when i bought it. Runs like a dream.
Just added some pods. Needs one Kick to start. I not use the startmotor. It has a very little lithion battery. All the wiring is new and as clean as possible. new fuse box ect ect.

How does it handle?
It handles for a old bike very nice.
And yess it is heavy.
I upgraded teh front brakes with bigger rotors and better calibers. The old brakes are crap.
The bike will handle better with a upgrade of the frontfork.

Hey I also have a 77 xs750. What are you using as a regulator/rectifier for charging system? I can't find anything to be compatible. I'm also running a lithium battery

Hi there. I'm also rebuilding an xs 750-2D '77 U.K. (1T5-...).
Could be so nice to learn from your experience.
I also have 3-1 exhaust planning on putting k&n pod filters on. What jetting setup do you use for that? Maybe I can just adapt yours?
Is there any problems changing to a lithium battery? Any things I need to change as well? I have electric ignition, but else I stock, I think.
