I was replacing my cam chain tensioner and guide this afternoon, but when I opened it up there was a smell that seemed off (maybe old oil?). And when I opened it it, there was no triple-bond, and the breather gasket was hard as a rock - so I am assuming it has been quite some time since it was last opened.
But rather than just button everything back up - I was hoping to get some expert eyes on it...see if there is anything that I might need to be concerned with.
