At what price is this a good deal? Dismantled 1975 cb750

But prices now are way less then they were a few years ago.

The bandwagon has moved on.
Demand is lower so less people are playing the flip game on CL.

STILL PLENTY of bikes out there, just don't be lazy and only search CL.

The majority of the bikes I have bought in the last two years were not publically listed.
Get out in the real world and meet people that are actually doing stuff.

^This. I've got a BMW R100/7 in the garage through trade, a CB360 that cost $25, and a minty survivor CB750f that cost $400, and all came through friends and connections, not from eBay or CL.

Also important to define a "deal"
A basket case at any price is never going to be as good a deal as a $1000 bike that can be used as a daily and just passed inspection.

Purchase price is almost meaningless for any real "build", restoration or project.
