Been Around the Block
I'm working on a GT 185 cafe project and I'm looking for help to improve the fork action and damping without spending a fortune. I have stripped the forks down, replaced seals and oil. They move freely and work ok, but I'm hoping for some improvement. The chrome on the tubes is good on the sliding surfaces, rusty between the triple clamps. They are a very basic fork but I have no experience with them. Local suspension tuners have quoted big dollars to sort them out.
Any ideas?
