Smoke
« on: Jul 27, 2017, 21:56:18 »
Hey everyone just noticed something today while trying to burn the plastic off my exhaust from putting my cover on too soon.  I've yet to take this bike on the road and drive it.(I just like hearing it run and waiting until after my course to drive it)  But after just running it for about 10 min I noticed blue smoke coming from one side only.  I have read that it could be multitude of things but I'm hoping it's a cheap and easy fix.  I am bringing the bike in next week to replace the fork seals and maybe see if he can give it a quick once over to see what else it may need.  I should also mention it's an 84 Suzuki Tempter GR650

If you run it stationary for ten minutes its probably overheated.

Ok thanks guys.  That makes sense since it's air cooled!
