Compression Tests - Affect of Carbs, Air Filters, Exhaust?

When doing a compression test, would running non-stock carbs, air filters, or mufflers affect the overall compression value? Could a test be run without all of the above and give accurate results?

No.

You must make sure to hold the throttle all the way open if carbs are fitted while doing a compression test.

Compression is a result of how well your piston/rings and valves 'seal' the combustion chamber, so anything outside of that does not effect the numbers

Depends on the carbs. CV carbs will generally read a little low if they're still on the bike. Slide carbs would be OK with holding the throttle open, though. Other items you mentioned would have minimal effect.
