Mint 77 Honda CB750K Daddie-O
« on: Aug 08, 2017, 01:14:04 »
Well, haven't finished my 82 Honda CB900C yet, but she's leaking oil and gas but we're still chugging along to work when it's not going to rain.

Picked up a 1977 Honda CB750K with only 10,000 miles on it. Local guy, worked with Iowa Dot until 5 years ago and he rode it occasionally, 2nd owner. He stopped riding last year, supposed stuck fuel bowl float stuck open. Haven't tore it open yet, but wanted to take off a few things that the 70's left behind. Luggage rack and big ass faring on the front.   No thank you.

Can't post from my phone, I'll post a few pics tomorrow to let you see my new beauty and can't wait!

If you're posting from your iPhone, then just hit the little pill in the bottom left...

Click the rectangle with the mountains...

Your image list will pop up...

Click the image you want, and when you're done composing the post hit Reply.

If that doesn't work, then you might have issues on your end

I have posted before and haven't had a problem. Maybe I'll try logging in and out see if that helps. I get an error that sends an email to "us".

Okay now I got it, I was hitting the "gallery" button. Just tried paperclip and it worked now.

See if these with and without faring.

Okay so I got it now and ashamed to ask but this is my next questionable part.... I have no automotive/ motorcycle repair experience, I just use instinct and Clymers, but what is this and why is it unhooked?

Oil pressure switch.  Not sure why they disconnected it.
Ah okay thanks Irk, now I can find out why. Just needed to know what it is to how to fix it.
